Miss this sign? Yup, yup!

Richmond Night Market 2013 is now grandly opened!!!

This year, the theme is a huge yellow rubber duck.

The giant rubber duck was designed by a Dutch artist, Florentijn Hofman, and is now travelling around the world.

Today, it’s swimming in the harbour at Hong Kong.

It’s very cute and popular. Probably that’s why they are using it as the theme to attract more people:)

DSC07023

We arrived there before 7pm but there’s already a long long line.

DSC07028

It’s much larger than the International Summer Night Market.

DSC07035

BBQ King has become my favourite since last year.

This time we didn’t try Chef James because we think BBQ King can do a better job on delivering yummy skewers.

Lamb

Nice as always.

I ate with expectations and it did disappoint us:)

Texture is wonderful and tastes good.

BBQ Beef Rib $6

Much better than I thought!

Soft yet bouncy. Lovely.

DSC07060

Pan Seared Foie Gras (on toast) $7

Pretty good.

However, the compote in the middle is cold and a bit too sweet…

Looks cute.

DSC07071

We ordered Octopus ($5 for 6 balls) but there are also Shrimp/Scallop for you to choose.

Not bad.

DSC07075

Roasted pork hock is one of our must order at night market.

DSC07076

DSC07077

Their pork hocks are so good that it’s the only food they serve.

Roasted Pork Hock $13

Very crunchy and juicy.

Smells very nice too! People were staring at our plate while we were walking around, haha.

DSC07084

Sugar Cane Juice

DSC07087

Sugar Cane Juice

Not bad and not too sweet.

But at first the juice was a bit warm…later it gets better:)

DSC07091

Honey’s BBQ

DSC07092

Their fish looks quite popular but we didn’t try.

DSC07096 DSC07098

Lamb

So-so…we ordered non-spicy but they gave us spicy ones…

We prefer BBQ King.

Dim Sum Express

Curry Fish Balls (Non-spicy)

Good.

DSC07103 DSC07104

Imitation Shark Fin Soup (with pepper)

Nice as always.

DSC07105

Beef Offal

Like the imitation shark fin soup and the fish balls, the beef offal is one of their signature.

To me, it’s not as tasty as last year but still good.

DSC07115

Japanese Crepe Sasuke ~~

Oh, I miss their crepes very much!!

DSC07118

The crepe master^^

DSC07120

We ordered BV (Banana + Vanilla) and SG (Strawberry + Green Tea).

The look is a bit different from the past. I could see the ice-cream on the top but this time I couldn’t.

Now it all looks the same so we just took one picture of them.

The taste is as delicious as ever.

We didn’t regret;)

Richmond Night Market

Much more people than the first hour we arrived!

Even though we want to try all booths, we have limited space in our stomachs:\

The following photos are the booths we didn’t try but we wanna give you a bigger picture of what the night market looks like this year:D
